Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Walsall / Cannock / Brownhills / Wednesbury
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Various shifts available

The Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Role:

We are currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Drivers to join a number of established businesses across the local area.

We have a variety of opportunities available within warehouse, manufacturing, distribution and industrial environments, with ongoing temp-to-permanent positions available.

Key Responsibilities for the Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative role:

Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles
Moving and storing stock around the warehouse or yard
Preparing goods for dispatch
Loading and unloading pallets and materials
Supporting general warehouse and production duties when required
Completing relevant paperwork and stock checks
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following all company health & safety procedures

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

Previous forklift experience
A valid external and in-date Counterbalance, Reach or Bendi/Flexi forklift licence depending on the position
Previous experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution or industrial environment
Good awareness of health & safety procedures
A reliable and hardworking attitude
Good timekeeping and attendance
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work different shifts where required
