Quality Technician

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Technician for an exciting new opportunity based in the Crewe area of Cheshire.

The Quality Technician in this role will initially be responsible for attending production line quality concern calls from the manufacturing / final assembly areas, taking ownership of any issues identified, providing a rapid response to any quality issues, determining root cause, the implementation of containment activities and the initial liaison with component supplier. Quality concern updates will be managed via our bespoke concern management system, the quality assurance technician will also update customer specific systems to demonstrate concern status and progress.

Following on from the initial containment the Quality Technician will be responsible for liaison with the supplier, managing resolution of the quality issue, robust problem resolution actions and closure of the issue to 8D.

Applicants should have previous experience in a similar Quality Forum role, be computer literate and be able to communicate at all levels.

In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a rate of £17.50 per hour PAYE.
