It’s an exciting time to be joining the People Development team with plenty of opportunities in this role for you to shape and develop the learning approach for our colleagues. You will be able to role model behaviours, delivering a brilliant service and support for customers and colleagues.

As a training lead, not only will you design and deliver the training yourself, but you will also lead your team of trainers to deliver an engaging and successful learning experience for over 1800 colleagues, in subject areas such as coaching and customer skills, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to thrive in their roles.

You will be responsible for delivering, evaluating, and improving the effectiveness of training and development of our colleagues, utilising digital tools and platforms that drive engagement and career development. We want our colleagues to be motivated and engaged to complete their learning in good time and actively seek more from us, thus creating a learning culture that is colleague-led.

You will be a fantastic coach, able to offer coaching training as well as 121 coaching for colleagues. You will design and oversee the induction of colleagues, ensuring our DNA is fully embedded, working with leaders in the business to establish training needs, creating an annual prospectus of learning. You will support the Learning Experience Manager to design, develop and source exciting learning content to inspire colleague confidence.

You will work in collaboration with the Learning Experience Manager to ensure tracking, KPI’s and reporting, and covering the role in their absence. You will review, improve and develop the additional digital content used by trainers to ensure these are highly engaging for colleagues and deliver on learning outcomes, including podcasts, videos and webinars. Furthermore, you will bring new ideas to the business as well as engage with new concepts to help our colleagues thrive through new thinking and agile learning solutions.

As a training lead, we are looking for:

A strong learning and development professional – experience of leading an operational L&D service
A recognised qualification in L&D or CIPD qualified (desirable) or equivalent
Experience of delivering learning events to promote a culture of learning and continued, professional development to a high quality
Experience of delivering learning in a variety of different formats (including classroom and digitally)
An inspirational and motivational trainer
Experience of leading a team
Excellent facilitation skills, taking a coaching approach
An ability to create a learning agenda and encourage a learning culture
Resilience, be comfortable working within a constantly changing environment
UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
A commitment to our DNA and be a great ambassador for Bromford.This is a roaming style role, a mixture of working from our workspaces and home.
