Employee Relations Apprentice (HR) - 18 month fixed term contract.

Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week

National Minimum Wage depending on age + benefits

In this role you will work within the current Employee Relations team of 3, to provide an efficient and effective support and administrative service to the Employee Relations function and its customers. The role is a full time Apprenticeship with the role based at our Head Office in Sidcup with working from home option (hybrid).

The Employee Relations team sits under the wider HR Shared Services function at Avenues and provides advice and support to the employees of Avenues, to support positive resolutions of issues that may arise during the employee's life cycle.

Key responsibilities:

Work with an experienced apprenticeship training provider towards a Business and Administration Level 3 qualification
Assist with accurately maintaining and updating the disciplinary, grievance and performance management data held on the HR Information System.
Maintain the electronic filing/record keeping system
Undertake aspects of diary management for the team
To effectively deal with any incoming requests for support or advice
Provide support with producing standardised letter templates in relation to disciplinary, grievances and performance management
Undertake any additional administrative duties within the Employee Relations team; phone/online calls, sending and responding to emails, meeting minutes, scanning, posting of letters etc.
Work with other departments and directorate function to provide consistently high levels of customer service
Work with the team as directed, on any Employee Relations case work as requiredFor full details please view the role profile.

About you;

Experience of undertaking administrative office based duties
Experience of maintaining and operating databases and IT systems
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft office software (e.g. Excel, Office, Word, Teams etc.)
Able to communicate effectively at all levels
Able to prioritise your own workload with conflicting deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
