JOB TITLE: Fabric Engineer
REPORTING TO: Facilities Manager
LOCATION: Allianz, 60 Gracechurch Street, London EC3
HOURS: 40 Hours per week, Mon-Fri
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
To provide facilities management support to the site. Duties to include, but not restricted to, day to day operational interaction with the client, day to day support of Health & Safety in relation to the FM function. Liaison with other ABM site specific/mobile technical team members relevant to their sites, supervision of third-party resource and supplier teams relevant to their sites, execution of PPM and reactive maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement, observe and comply with all good working practices and to ensure compliance with the appropriate Health & Safety and statutory regulations.
* Execution of Electrical and/or Mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks whilst on the site in line with the contract scope and specification.
* Execution of general planned preventative maintenance tasks on site with the contract scope and specification.
* Execution of electrical and/or mechanical reactive maintenance tasks and minor project works on the site in line with the contract scope and specification.
* To work with and supervise as required all 3rd party resources working on behalf of ABM on the site/sites.
* To support all procurement requirements on site as required to their areas of work
* Maintain all company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable and presentable manner
* Ensure that all company IT system requirements are always completed accurately and legibly and presented in a timely manner
* Ensure that all company paperwork is always completed accurately and legibly and presented in a timely manner
* Participate in the site shift rota system if required.
* Participate in the Company's standby/out of hours emergency call-out rota if required
* Present themselves in a professional manner and maintain good relationships with clients and other staff members at all times.
* Support the Site Supervisor, Engineering Manager, Contract Administrators and/or the Contract Manager in their roles by effective communication
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship and hold a relevant electrical qualification.
* Experience in a similar multi-skilled role.
* Good communication skills.
* Good mix of general maintenance / reactive skills
* Ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative
* Ability to prioritise work loads
* Ability to work at heights
Desirable
* Hold a recognised qualification in Testing and Inspection (Not Essential)
* Portable Appliance Testing.(Not Essential)
* IPAF Qualified / PASMA Qualified (Not Essential)
