What will you be doing?

Our employees deserve to feel that they are heard and valued, which is why the Employee Experience Lead will understand, analyse and improve the way our people feel about working at Veolia.

This role is built on the desire to improve employee experience through a series of strategies and projects that enriches every day employee experience as well as engagement across the full employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop the first employee experience strategy for Veolia UK and create employee experience frameworks throughout the entire employee life cycle.
Assess and test the employee lifecycle, including systems, policies, communications, benefits, induction and development in order to measure the impact on employee experience.
Research and design an approach to assess in the moment employee feedback to measure the success of new and existing People initiatives across the organisation.
Identify and address real time issues impacting employee experience.
Collaborate with the Transformation & Culture Manager to build a culture of trust where our people are able to be themselves and where their voice is heard.
In conjunction with the Employer Brand & Attraction Specialist, provide people analytics, stories and experiences that aligns Veolia's employer brand to culture, purpose and values.
Work with Senior Leadership teams to understand key messages that we want our people to hear and creatively find ways to share these messages with everyone.
Use agile methodologies to map out employee journeys, identify pain points and barriers and make recommendations for change.
Evaluate and improve manager practices, ensuring that through our values and behaviours we create an improved experience for all of our people.

What are we looking for?

Experience developing engagement approaches that improve employee experience.
Knowledge and application of agile, lean and design thinking methodologies.
Experience working in a fast-paced complex business that continuously evolves.
Using a growth mindset to drive innovation and the creation of ideas that impact people.
Previous experience in a specialist or generalist HR role with in-depth knowledge of the employee lifecycle.
Demonstrable experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, building strong relationships, balancing competing priorities and influencing agendas.
