Support Worker

It employs more than 750 staff, works with many volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships as part of the employment package. The Group has an annual turnover of more than £34m and owns assets close to £186m.
The Group consists of;
Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a Support Worker at our site based in Sandwell. We are looking for someone to provide person centred support to customers, reporting any safeguarding concerns in line with policy and procedure. To support customers with life skills and empower them to make a positive contribution to society and become self-sufficient; this includes recording case studies that reflect achievements of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Providing a flexible, responsive service which operates in a timely and person-centred manner
Signposting customers to relevant sources of information, support, guidance and advice
Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers
Completing and following clear risk assessments, and adhering to the organisations Health and Safety Policy
Completing and maintaining accurate records in line with the requirements (including detailed support plans, risk assessments and regular checks)
Ensuring all service delivery is non-judgemental and is delivered in line with equality and diversity requirements
To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
Play an active role in working flexibly to support the service as and when necessary
Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes
Any other duties as required by the role
