Hazardous Waste Bid Writer

Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

Location: Four Ashes

We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to 'Resource the World'. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join our dynamic team in Four Ashes.

The purpose of the Bid Writer is to produce professionally written tender content that clearly articulates Veolia's value proposition to the customer opportunity to secure new contract wins. This role will be working on strategic tender opportunities for Veolia's hazardous waste division.

What will you be doing?

Accountable for the overall content quality of bid submissions
Suggest reference points, evidence and case study content requirements to enhance bid performance
Write compelling information bespoke to each customer opportunity based on specific questions asked
Work alongside management and the tender project team to develop bid strategies for tender opportunity
Re-write and edit proposal in line with responses from contributing business functions H&S / HR/ Operations / Sales / Finances / Commercial and Legal
Work in partnership with customer representatives or through the clarification process to ensure we have all the required information to assist with the proposal writing process

What are we looking for?

English degree or related qualification
Writing Qualification or a professional writing background
Experience of working on tenders with a value in excess of £500,000
Bid writing experience within a utilities, construction or facilities management field
Experience working with graphic design packages is an advantage but not essential
