In 2001 we were founded as a manufacturer and operator of leisure machines (fruit machines in pub terms). This proved to be a successful concept, but after seeing the online market grow, we wanted a piece of the action, so in 2007 we stepped away from physical machines and entered the online world, launching our first online casino brand MFortune, and what a success this was to be! Such a success that fast forward to today and we now have 8 unique online casino brands with over 300 games!

Now we aren't just any normal gaming company, oh no! We do EVERYTHING in house at our head office in Halesowen. From the idea / design of the games, right through to creating and testing them. We create games not only for our own brands but also for other companies too. We even have a multichannel contact centre here who are there for our customers 24/7!

The role is based in the User Applications team, this is a role responsible for code reviewing, gatekeeping and release planning. Working with a team of business analysts and project managers to break down high-level goals into tasks and timelines. You will primarily work on our Typescript Games Framework and Casino Tools.

Job Title: Typescript developer

Location: Birmingham, Halesowen

Salary: Up to £50,000 (neg) + comprehensive benefits (including flexible working hours, casual dress policy, free on-site gym, free lunch + snacks, private pension scheme, and much more!).

Key skills we're looking for...

Excellent TypeScript/JavaScript experience within the NodeJS framework

Experience writing OOP code and conforming to coding standard, linter rules and peer reviews

Experience with web based RESTful technologies and integrating systems and services.

Graphical programming experience (WebGL, Pixi, Shader languages)

Experience interacting with backend data stores such as MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka

A degree or diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Bonus points for...

HTML5 games experience (especially in the Casino industry)

Front End experience with React JS

Automated Testing / CI exposure

Experience with writing entire systems from scratch with little library support.

Knowledge of real-time gaming systems
