About this Job -
We are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Support Worker to support a young girl with a congenital condition called arthrogryposis. This is a rare condition that affects joints in the body, causing them to be stiff and immobile. The young girl also has a respiratory disorder known as Malacia. This is a weakness of the Trachea, resulting in this young lady needing a tracheostomy to help her breath.
This role is full or part time for someone who can work a mixture of days, nights and weekends, with the following shift patterns available:
(Apply online only) Monday- Friday
(Apply online only) Nights
WeekendsThe person we support has the following clinical interventions:
Oxygen saturation monitoring overnight
Ventilator treatment overnight
Tracheostomy with Tracheal Suction
Gastrostomy
Nebuliser Therapy
MedicationsPrevious experience is advantageous but not essential as you will receive training tailored to this person's specific needs.
Earn £10.20 per hour.
Regular working patterns

24/7 on call nurse support
