We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Please note we are only able to accept female applicants for this vacancy.

You’ll be working 42 hours a week (days and nights required), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Rydal Avenue, one of our Supported Living Services.

We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association. Individuals who are interested in living here may have previously been detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step down placement within their local community.

Meet Our Rydal Avenue Resident...

"I have 24 hour 1:1 support and sometimes 2:1 support in the community, this is to help me stay free from alcohol use as I struggle in this area.

I would like my Support Worker to help me get around the city centre using the bus, and I would like to have 1.1 support out in the community and in my home. While in my home I would like for them to help me with taking my medications and help me with some schooling and ordering online. I do not want then to crowd me and tell me what to do, I would like for them to explain things to me more than once so I can understand. I do not require support with budgeting my finances as it makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm looking for a Support Worker who loves animals and enjoys taking me on activities."

At Cygnet, we support our people to grow their careers, gain new skills and keep stepping up.

Apply now to enjoy excellent career prospects while reaping the rewards of making a difference to others – every day.
