As a Biodiesel Operations Manager, you will be tasked with the day-to-day operation of our biodiesel and anaerobic digestion plants. You will focus on safe working practices and the surrounding legislation and will manage and directly supervise a team of site operators.

Working closely with the leadership team on site you will oversee health and safety, environmental, quality and performance, personnel supervision, operational performance and continuous improvement on the Biodiesel and AD plants.

Specifically, you will:

- Prioritise that safety comes first in the running of the plant, and ensure that all members of the production team fully understand this message
- Ensuring that the plant runs to Olleco’s policies and procedures
- That there are procedures in place to safely run the plant and that other works on the plant are carried out in line with Olleco’s permit to work policy
- Ensure that operational activities are completed in line with environmental standards
- Make sure that the plant delivers the required output and yields to the appropriate quality
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations and take part in analysis and decision making surrounding operational processes
- Takes P&L responsibility for the running of the plant
- Seek to optimise and develop processes with a view to improve throughput and yield
- In co-ordination with the maintenance team ensure that planned and corrective maintenance takes place

- Process manufacturing experience
- High SHEQ standards and sound knowledge of safety practices
- Experience of optimising and managing process parameters
- Experience of delivering operational improvements
- A BSc. in Engineering, Science or equivalent

The ideal Biodiesel Operations Manager will have a Process Safety and Occupational Health and Safety qualification
