Fast Track Trainee Mortgage Adviser opportunity, providing an outstanding long term career in Financial Services enabling you to become a fully CeMAP qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser, working for the UK’S leading new homes mortgage provider.

Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Basis: Full time Permanent Employed Role

Location: Initially office based full time in Berkhamsted during your 18-24 month training period, then moving to home based working role once promoted to a Mortgage and Protection Adviser**.

Target: Must have a strong desire to work within the financial services arena, ideally educated to at least A-level or equivalent standard, with a demonstrable strong track record in customer service and sales.

Year One Rewards**: £25K basic salary + commission for 1st 12 months with a 1st year with an expected OTE of £32K.

After 12 Months**: Basic salary increase to £26K + commission with an expected OTE of £35K.

After 18 -24 Months**: After 18-24 months you will become fully CeMAP Qualified and will earn promotion to a home based Mortgage Adviser, with a basic salary increase to £35K and an OTE of £70K+.

CeMAP Support*: We will provide full financial support to gain CF1 & CF6 CeMAP Mortgage Adviser qualifications, including full provision for study materials with all exam entry costs paid for. You will be offered a 3 day intensive study course ahead of the exam at no cost to you and time off work given as part of your development.

Working Hours: Whilst working as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser you will work an average 35 hours per week with variable shift patterns. You will be required to work alternate weekends on rota with weekday time off in lieu.

Timeline: Immediate Interviews with an August/ September 2022 start.

We are now looking for four trainee Mortgage Advisors to join the TORC24 team. The role offers full training and would ideally suit candidates with previous sales experience and we would be especially keen to hear from applicants with previous experience in a financial setting.

Becoming a Mortgage Adviser:

Your role will initially consist of working for TORC24 in the front line as first point of contact for our customers, needless to say this is an important and integral part of our organisation, our teams are highly trained and work to high expectations and are responsible for managing our customer’s first impressions, it’s fair to say you will find no two days are the same, and the experience gained will be invaluable once you become a Mortgage Adviser.

Initially you will be responsible for making and receiving calls to customers referred to us by our national housebuilder clients, your role will require you to accurately record their details as part of their mortgage application, with the intention of arranging an appointment with one of our specialist Mortgage Advisers.

Required Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Educated to A level or equivalent standard as a minimum.
Bachelor’s degree is preferable but not essential.
A strong desire to work within the Financial Services Industry, particularly within mortgages and protection.
A strong track record in customer service and sales.
Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format.
Organised, and adopts a disciplined and structured approach to work.
Highly competent user of IT and a competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
