About The Role
Purpose of Role:
To support HC-One's Procurement strategy and management of direct reports, to meet category objectives for cost reduction, management of supply chain and supply chain projects and providing a first class service to all Customers and business stakeholders.
About You
Your role will involve:
Developing positive working relationships and overall management of ongoing negotiations with suppliers of key categories so that we benefit / leverage their resources, expertise and support in delivering high quality products and service levels across our care home estate, demonstrating best value.
Overall responsibility for the supply chain management of key category contracts; ensuring effective and measurable Key Performance Indicators are incorporated.
Ensuring national coverage of supply to all care homes.
Management of existing category suppliers, as well as Procurement of new provision.
Cost control, cost management and cost reduction strategies to hit targets.
Provide a platform of continuous market intelligence, analysing spends, transactional and pricing data, continuously monitoring the category markets. Also, to share major cost variations with the key suppliers, to maintain a competitive category portfolio.
Manage queries and issues reported by Home colleagues and other stakeholders relating directly to category responsibilities, ensuring feedback and robust resolutions are implemented.
Ensure acceptable due diligence of all suppliers to ensure they meet the required standards.
Maintain supply chain transparency to ensure ethical standards are always met.
Successfully planning and managing the integration of newly acquired sites into existing HC-One service agreements, systems and processes ensuring best value.
Operate within ethical and professional codes at all times.
Management and coaching of direct reports ensuring targets, objectives and service levels are met.
