Support Worker
Day shifts (earlies & lates) - 21 hours per week
Waking night shifts - 30 hours & 20 hours per week
Shift times; 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm & 10pm-8am
£19,500 per annum (pro rata)We're looking for Support Workers to work with us within a small and expanding team at Chaplin Walk, Sudbury/Great Cornard. You will be supporting 5 adults with complex needs, behaviours that challenge, autism and learning disabilities in their home. There will also be some shifts of 1:1 time with the people to support achieve their personal goals to become more independent.

The service is a transitional service and so you will be working with the individuals to support them with their personal goals to become more independent to prepare them to move into the community further down the line.

No two days are the same but your day might look like this!

Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
Supporting our people with social activities such as swimming, gym, cinema, meals out and supporting with coursework from college.
Connecting with family and friends.
Daily living skills building
Supporting the management of our people's finances.
Keeping our people's home clean and fresh
Providing, and encouraging, personal care.
And enjoying what you do!Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
