Machine Operative

We are Cooksongold, and we’ve been proudly supporting jewellers across the country since 1918, with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. We form part of the Heimerle + Meule Group, one of Europe's largest refiners and processors of precious metals.
Based in the heart of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter we are a friendly, well-established but growing business of 280 employees. We are currently looking to recruit a Machine Operative to join our team.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Machine Operative based in our Additive Manufacturing department, you will be semi finishing 3D printer parts ready for our customers.
- Removing manufactured parts from the AM machines
- Carefully removing the support structures used during the build of the part
- Preparing/semi finishing the parts to the agreed standard, ready for the customer
- Carefully packing the parts for shipping
- Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures
What you’ll need to bring to the show:
- Your experience in operating industrial machines and manual support procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Team Spirit - you’ll need to be prepared to get involved in whatever it takes to get the job done

Hours of Work
