Kitchen Porter
Location: Woolwell, Plymouth
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Salary: £9.50 - £10.30 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our specialist nursing home in Woolwell, Plymouth
Roborough House provides expert care and treatment for adults with complex support needs, resulting from mental health disorders, dementias, strokes and progressive neurological conditions and associated comorbidities such as epilepsy, dysphagia, diabetes and behaviours that may challenge a mainstream nursing home.
Roborough House is located in Woolwell; a suburb on the north-east fringe of the city of Plymouth, located just outside the city’s boundaries in the district of the South Hams. It is situated along the A386, close to the boundary of Dartmoor National Park, with good views of the surrounding landscape.
Key Criteria and Essential Skills:
Previous kitchen portering experience preferred – but not essential as full training will be given
Able to work under pressure and to a tight schedule.
Enthusiastic and positive approach.
Must be flexible and able to work during some of our peak times which include weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
NVQ Level 2 in catering – preferred - but not essential as full training will be given
