Test Analyst

Our business continues to grow creating an opportunity to join our busy team in Birmingham.
Main Duties:
Perform, SAT, SIT Tests
• Execution of regressions test scripts
• Conduct smoke tests
• Design efficient test cases/scripts and provide reporting on the test results
• Accurately log test results
• Participate in defect review and project related meetings where required
• Have a proactive and good work relationship with other members of the project team
Key Skills and Experience:
• Good testing experience
• Ability to derive test scenarios, test cases based on business requirements and functional design document for appropriate level of test coverage
• Test data preparation for planned test scenarios/ test cases
• Have a good understanding of Test Planning, Execution, Reporting and Defect Management process
• Good knowledge and experience of working in various SDLC delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)
• Experience of integration testing
• Ability to identify test scenarios, test cases for regression pack and perform execution
• Having experience in ERP, D365 Finance & Operations, D365 CRM, Power Platform and Power BI application would also be a good advantage
• Be proactive and willingness to learn new technologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• ISTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing is a plus
