An established, family run business are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to support the company with all its accounting activities and to oversee other administrative tasks. This is a very friendly working environment with only 11 employees in total where everyone supports each other. Whilst the primary focus of the role is ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions, there will be wider administrative tasks outside of the finance function to support with.

Therefore, we are seeking an all-round team player happy to take ownership of wider administrative and support functions but maintaining a finance bias.

Responsibilities

* Reconcile financial statements

* Preparing and entering journals into the system

* Raising and processing invoices

* Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments

* Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable

* Varied Ad hoc duties including order taking and processing, assisting marketing department, opening the post etc.

Requirements

* Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role

* Flexible approach and a can-do attitude

* Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures with hands-on experience with accounting software

* Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors

* Good organisational and time-management abilities

Benefits

* Salary of £27,000 - £33,000 depending on experience

* 8am-5pm with an hour for lunch
