Digital Buyer

The purpose of the Digital Buyer is to support our Group Used Car department in maximising the conversion rate of our part exchange purchases and “Sell My Car” conversion. We automate our used car valuations that we offer to customers, but often these valuations need reviewing manually, with a view to whether we can offer more based on the specific market conditions. The candidate will need good communication skills and an understanding of data analysis which will strengthen our reach across all omni-channels. In addition to this, the Digital Buyer will also support our Group Buying Manager in achieving our annual purchasing target of used cars for all of our Inchcape brands. Vehicles will need to be researched online, purchased and then distributed to the dealership that needs that vehicle the most, in order to optimise our ROI and increase sales rate.

Review used car valuations provided to customer, and adjust where necessary
Communicate with customers both over telephone, email or live chat
Purchase used car stock to fulfil our dealerships stock requirements
Measure conversion rates between valuation and purchase, and grow by dealer
Research and value used vehicles
Qualify & convert website enquiries from Sell My Car platform
Build and maintain relationships with all dealerships, suppliers, vendors and auction houses
Arrange deliveries/collection with suppliers
Liaise with dealerships regarding the sourcing of stock to fit their customers’ requirementsThe Ideal Candidate
