Main Purpose of Role
To run and deliver day to day execution of our consulting engagements and workstreams. Working under the guidance of a Principal Consultant/ Partner you will develop insights into healthcare related issues by analysing relevant data sets and interviewing healthcare professionals.
You will be required to develop and present project plans and proposals, liaise with clients in fact may be the day to day client contact on projects, oversee deliverables, timelines, and ongoing project execution.
Work directly with clients and internal teams and take ownership of the overall project and final deliverables.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the day-to-day execution of a client project while guiding and supporting team members, contributing to the analysis, design, and implementation of the projects.
- Build positive client relationships providing regular communications with the client, including client deliverables, and continually assess the clients’ needs, identify any change in scope/requirements and develop cohesive plans that improve the operations with efficient procedures and systems.
- Manage the project management aspect of the consulting engagement and be a point of contact between the client and the consulting team.
- Plan projects effectively to increase productivity within teams for better and more efficient execution of tasks and projects.
- Research and analyse relevant business data, information, and project budgets, to support writing relevant and accurate proposals.
- Ensure cohesion between project teams and to make sure that projects meet the scope and brief from the client. Assign tasks to team members, track the progress of the team and develop methods to enhance cooperation and productivity and problem-solving when issues arise
- Monitor project scope and profitability
- Identify new concepts for products and find ways to upsell or cross-sell to increase revenue and build brand awareness.
- Organise healthcare professional engagement in projects
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in the same or similar role
- Educated to degree level in Life Sciences/Healthcare (or equivalent) with experience in managing consulting projects.
- Knowledge of the NHS and / or Pharmaceutical business processes will be an advantage.
- Well-developed research and analytic capabilities, superior problem-solving skills, and creative thinking
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence, persuade, and ask the tough questions with different teams at various levels of the business and have excellent organisation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time, personnel, and resources
- Ability to adapt, flex, and change directions given client, project, and team circumstances understanding the ever-changing environment and market dynamics.
- Proactively engaging diverse perspectives to solve problems and optimistically tackling challenges
- Embrace multiple projects, knowing relevant importance, and ensuring the highest standards are achieved through iterative collaboration across teams.
