Apprenticeship programme

During this 24-month programme, we will help you to develop your practical skills and knowledge required for you to succeed in this role as well as your future career. Throughout the 24-month programme, you will continue to develop your behaviours such as team working, problem-solving and customer focus. Veolia as a business is not only interested in what you accomplish, but the manner you do it.

As well as gaining a broad range of technical and professional knowledge and experience, you'll also gain academic and vocational qualifications such as Technical Knowledge Certificate in Customer Service and NVQ Competency.

What will you be doing?

You will be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries, ensuring your customers' enquiries are resolved
Recording an accurate log of communication history and resolutions
Build working relationships with internal and external customers
Administrative tasks such as logging queries, booking waste collections, sending welcome packs and other duties as required in a range of different systems

What are we looking for?

A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include Maths & English OR willingness to undertake functional skills in Maths & English Level 2 alongside the apprenticeship (you must complete these before the end of the apprenticeship)
A real commitment to providing a great customer experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including telephony skills
Patient and able to effectively handle conflict and provide empathy
Ability to multitask
Working knowledge of Google Office Applications e.g. Sheets/Docs (desirable)
