£38,500 Per Annum- £40,180.00 inclusive of car allowance,

Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance

Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor with a successful track record in the Housing sector to coordinate the work of Tridents surveying team . This position sits within the Technical Services team and will be responsible for overseeing delivering operational delivery both responsive repairs and planned projects across the organisation’s property stock.

The role will provide leadership and expert technical knowledge to the organisation on surveying, all aspects of building maintenance, investment and property compliance.

About you

The ideal candidate will have;

Have excellent knowledge of building construction, and of relevant legislation, building regulation, standards and ability to manage Health & Safety during a project.

Have the ability to survey and specify required works, to diagnose and specify remedies to building defects.

Have a strong understanding of maintenance services within social housing sector (responsive, empty homes, planned, cyclical and compliance).

Have a successful track record of delivering building surveying services and management of substantial work programmes in a similar environment.

Delivering a stock condition programmes and effectively analysing data to make investment decision.

Hold good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, housing and property management systems.

Have excellent standards of customer care and the ability to deliver accurate and clear communications in writing, face to face or by telephone

Hold a degree/HND or professional qualification in a related subject and membership of a professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS.
