We are now have the opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join us at our site in Telford.

Job Description

The role holder will provide general administration support to the Transport Department.

Shifts: 4 on 4 off 6 am - 6 pm

Salary: £22,475 basic pa

Key Responsibilities:

* Correctly debriefing drivers

* Checking all time-sheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly

* Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system

* Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information

* Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required

* Answering the telephone and assisting with any inquiries

* Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs

* Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services

* Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets

* Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)

* Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads

Qualifications

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Able to work and communicate effectively

* Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

* Ability to work without direct supervision

* Adaptable approach to work and raining

* Conscientious and reliable

* Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines

* Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel

* Able to work as part of a team or individually, positive and adaptable attitude
