We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Administration Manager to support our operation in MediaCityUK.
This role will suit a an experienced administrator with an engineering or utilities background who is looking for the next step in their career.
Engineering Administration Manager Job Description
The successful person will be responsible for the effective administration and and management of Engineering controls and processes including, but not limited to -
* Ensuring all Engineering Departments have the processes and controls in place to enable them to run effectively and efficiently
* Manage all tracking for service engineers
* Manage call out desk / software
* Manage all PPMS / PDM
* Innovative thinking to ensure efficient processes are in place to support the business requirements.
* Develop related organisational policies and procedures
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors
* Collaborate effectively with teams across the business to optimize processes and efficiencies in the functions under their control.
* Assist and support colleagues around you and juggle your priorities to achieve team goals as well as personal ones.
* Deliver administrative support for enquiries, surveys, quotations, sales orders, purchasing, stock control, sales invoicing and engineering site-based activities to ensure external SLA’s & internal KPI’s are achieved.
* Assisting with technical items on site whilst liaising with field engineers
* Checking and implementing compliance on stations
* Building good rapport and relationship with field engineers and other stakeholders
Engineering Administration Manager Requirements
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams and Excel
* Minimum of 3 years experience in an Administration Management role, preferably within an Engineering environment
* Excellent time management
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Attention to Detail
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
