Night Concierge – Adult Transition Centre

The Group includes Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance; Trident Reach, a registered care and support charity providing services (homeless, mental health, young people, older people, BME groups and domestic violence) to people in the Midlands.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a Night Concierge at our site based in Ferndale Transition Centre, Birmingham, within our Homeless Services. The role is a for a permanent position. The role is to provide a security and support function to customers as part of a 24-hour service raising any concerns and reporting these in line with Policy and Procedure.

The role will involve undertaking routine building check to ensure security, health and safety and general tidiness of building. The role will also require the maintenance of CCTV, as well as keeping accurate and appropriate recordings of activities undertaken throughout the night. The role will require you to lone work for the duration of the shift and manage two dispersed buildings remotely in case of emergency. The service operates a rotational rota including weekends.
Various shifts between Monday – Sunday, 20:30 – 7:00
About you
Experience of working within a security environment
Communicate effectively; verbally, non- verbally and in writing
Sensitively adapt language and communication style
Ability to develop and establish relationships with colleagues and customers
Ensure confidentiality relating to customers and staff
Solving problems using own initiative without passing them upwards where possible
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
Produce high quality documentation when requested, e.g., team meeting minutes, weekly performance returns and audits
