This role is for variable hours each week and will involve weekend and bank holiday working.

Are you looking for the ideal job this summer? Would you like to work for the UK's leading conservation charity and are you able to deliver fantastic customer service? We are currently recruiting for a food & beverage assistant to join our team at our busy cafe at our Saltholme Nature Reserve.

We are looking for a food & beverage assistant who thrives in a busy environment, cares about delivering excellent customer service and wants to contribute to the successful operation of our café. You will work as part of the team taking orders, serving and clearing away, and we’ll train you to prepare tasty, ethical food and make creamy barista coffees. It can be a busy environment to work in, but if that’s your thing you’ll be in your element!

What we need from you:

Essentials:

* Enthusiastic approach to work

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills

* Ability to plan and prioritise work loads

* Multitasking

* Problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative

* Ability to manage and respond quickly and positively to customer needs and feedback

* Able to build and maintain strong working relationships

Desirables:

* Experience of working at a catering environment

* Basic food hygiene
