Job Details

If you’re a qualified Electrical Installations Lecturer apply now to join our in-house training team and begin a rewarding new chapter in your career.

At our purpose-built centres we train all of our own apprentices and with their numbers on the rise, we’re looking to expand our team by recruiting an experienced Lecturer who is passionate about sharing their knowledge with the next generation of Electricians. Whilst the role will be predominantly training apprentices, there will also be occasional opportunities to deliver training to our qualified electricians and run external short courses.

Although our training team is primarily based in Gloucester we also deliver apprentice training in Exeter, Bracknell, Milton Keynes and Birmingham so flexibility to travel to one of these locations for one day a week is expected (overnight accommodation can be arranged if required and travel costs refunded). Candidates can be based in Gloucester, Birmingham or Exeter.

This role can be full or part-time with flexible working hours offered.

The starting salary for this role is £34,000 - £36,500 increasing over time as further qualifications and experience are gained. A welcome bonus will also be payable in two parts: £1,500 after successful completion of a six-month probation period and a further £1,000 18 months after joining, subject to meeting all the requirements of the role.  We will be happy to fund further relevant qualifications we deem to be mutually beneficial.

You will be joining a well established team of experienced Lecturers and full support and training will be provided by our Senior Lecturers.
