Nightingale (Southbourne) – Days Support Worker
Rates of Pay: £10.20 to £10.90
Home Address: 46-48 Stourcliffe Ave, Southbourne, Bournemouth BH6 3PX
Nightingale is a specialist residential service for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism home. At Nightingale, two detached properties are connected by an entrance vestibule. Within the service, there are spacious communal lounges, two kitchens, dining rooms as well as a sensory room and activity space.
The Role:
As a support worker at Nightingale, you will be working as part of a team supporting and assisting residents under our care.
During your shift you will be:
Encouraging resident involvement in activities and excursions
Promoting independence whilst offering support
Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
Learn about individuals’ specific needs whilst becoming their key worker
We work a rolling rota with three shifts one week and four the next, having every second weekend off. We also have some availability for those applicants looking for part-time hours.
