The company's long-term aim is to become the biggest incontinence provider in Europe; here, you will have an opportunity to be part of it. Recognised as an award-winning company with outstanding people and an entrepreneurial environment, the ideal candidate will enjoy the buzz of being part of a market-leading business with exceptional people. Coming in as a Buyer now, you could be a Director overseeing an international operation in the future.
As a Retail Buyer, you will source the right products at the right prices for our customers. We will look to you to develop product ranges to ensure we stock the items our customers need whilst driving the commercial performance of the third-party supplier's category. You will define the supplier strategy within your own categories and nurture relationships to maximise return on sales growth in your areas of responsibility.
Can you:
* Manage and develop the online product ranges to deliver profitable business growth
* Understand the customer journey: customer insight, through to communicating product benefits and reasons to believe product will work based on key reason/s for purchase
* Deliver innovation through new lines and product development
* Source and meet suitable suppliers/manufacturers, including attending UK and international trade shows to drive innovation
* Manage and build new and existing supplier relationships
* Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts as well as other aspects of supplier accounts
