Due to our continued growth and internal promotion, we now have a wonderful opportunity for a proven commercial finance manager to work alongside our Head of Financial Control. Working in a collaborative finance function you will provide financial and commercial support to senior stakeholders across the Office Services or Office Print Business, ensuring financial control and governance is observed and maintained and whilst working in partnership, you will generate commercial financial insight and drive transformation to deliver business targets.

What you will be doing...
Lead and drive strategic financial transformation on the office service business, ensuring processes and procedures are strong before moving onto the stage of transformation
Design and control new processes and procedures related to software accounting and other new challenges brought by office services
Analyse all big deals and ensure they are properly accounted for and that are commercially understood involving commercial finance, group finance, group tax, senior leadership as necessary
Manage a team up to 3 people
Develop and maintain senior level relationship, providing financial data to influence stakeholder function and commercial insight to the leadership teams, persuade relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the business strategy and financial targets are achieved
Own and comprehensively understand all balance sheet reconciliations within their defined business areas
Monitor cash position, commercial P&L / Line of Business performance and variance against the agreed budget, providing detailed trend analysis and exception reporting
Support the financial leadership in the development of a credible and trusted finance function who provide commercial value
Own the accurate preparation and completion of functional budgeting and re-forecasting
Lead the month end process for specific areas, observing audit testing/regulations for clean audit reporting
In conjunction with Senior Finance Management and Business leaders provide detailed analysis and commentary for the Board pack
You will ideally have...
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Proven commercial finance experience
Advanced knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting process
Strong knowledge of control environment and governance with strong commercial thought and foresight
Demonstrable ability to analyse and validate financial and performance data
Comfortable influencing senior level leaders
Flexible and positive approach with can do attitude, looks for solutions rather than highlighting the issue.
Comfortable working in a continuously changing environment with stringent and conflicting timelines
Excellent presentation skills – able to translate complex data for non-finance audience
