Post: Occupational Therapist (Part Time - Band 5)

Salary: £13,000 per Annum

Base:

Cygnet Beeches, Retford Road, South Leverton, Retford, Nottinghamshire, DN22 0BY.

Cygnet Pines, 203, Park Hall Road, Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire,

NG19 8QX.

Responsible for:

19 residents across the two services.  

Responsible to:

Clinical Lead OT and Hospital Manager for line management.

Hours: 20 hours per week

Overview of sites:

Cygnet Beeches and Cygnet Pines provide specialist residential services for adults with Autism, learning disabilities and who may present with behaviours that challenge. 

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass OT assessments, treatment and management of residents within the service.

In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to individual’s diagnosis and identified needs. This will be based upon findings from assessments and associated risks in order to develop treatment plans & care and support plans.

The Successful Candidate should be/have:

A registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
Keen to work in the field of autism and learning disabilities services
Excellent communication and time management skills
Passionate about “Hands on” approach with residents.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
