We currently have a requirement for a plant & Transport dispatcher to work out of our Leeds office. The plant and transport department deal with all vehicle related enquiries. They administer the fuel card system as well as providing procurement support for the North region.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe Dispatcher will manage key stakeholder expectations associated with the reception and utilisation of Plant, Equipment and Vehicles required by the business. Accurate scheduling and dispatching of Plant, Equipment and Vehicles using

E-Dispatch system to ensure the safe, efficient and timely support of operational delivery to meet contract commitments whilst ensuring compliance with all Quality Procedures and Safe Working Practices. All works will be completed in accordance with Legislative Obligation, Safe Working Practices and Client Expectations whilst encouraging lean and innovative thinking.

Performing within financial tolerances, in respect of contract revenue, expenditure and budgets in line with operational forecasts. Driving cost efficiency and asset utilisation taking ownership of fleet and equipment assets - both owned & hired.

The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will ideally have a number of years previous experience in a similar or equivalent role, with a suitable logistics / dispatching qualification and training course attendance.
