Located: Northampton (Ricoh operate a vibrant working policy giving you flexible hybrid working options)
Package: To £28,000 (DOE), plus company Bonus and large Company Benefits

Working as part of a collaborative team you will be responsible for the purchasing of goods and services from the third-parties, ensuring each transaction provides best value, compliance and on-time delivery.

What you will be doing...
Help to manage the day-to-day delivery of the efficient procurement of third-party items from existing suppliers to include effective negotiation, compliant processing and on-time delivery
Manage processes including order creation, item creation, item returns and item renewals and centralised communication to enable the smooth running of the team
Follow an effective process to record cost comparisons per requirement and demonstrate savings achieved through effective sourcing and negotiation to optimise margins and reduce operating costs
Maintain good collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the business to support, develop and optimise purchasing processes and tools
Operationally work as part of a team of professional employees to ensure levels of expertise meet the current and future needs of the team, department and business
You will ideally have...
A real interest in working as a buyer and in a procurement function, with the determination to develop a long-term career
Proven customer service experience with good interpersonal, analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Excellent relationship management underpinned by being professional and confident in manner
Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders, suppliers, customers, peers, senior management and the wider business at all levels of seniority
Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the aptitude to learn new software packages
