About The Role

Supporting the Regulation Manager as part of the Quality Information Team, the Regulation Assistant will provide effective regulatory support to operational and central teams, working across all three social care Regulators.

They will communicate with colleagues with regards to the management of the Regulatory function on behalf of the Regulation Manager and act as the primary contact for all Provider Information Returns from CQC and equivalent requests from other Regulators.

The Regulation Assistant will manage requests for information and will support care homes to deliver the responses to factual accuracy, requests for action plans, investigations of concerns, and registration enquiries in a timely manner.

Working with the Regulation Manager, the Regulation Assistant will manage and deliver registration processes, and will support the Regulation Manager in providing timely and meaningful insight from our external regulators, which will determine the internal quality assessment schedule and any other associated interventions and support.

About You

Educated to Diploma level, with experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, you will be a skilled and experienced administrator ideally with a keen ability to develop the knowledge required to understand healthcare regulators across the UK. Support and training will be provided to assist your development.

You will have excellent IT skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to provide basic analysis of information and produce reports.

A confident communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have experience of developing external partnerships.
