Registered Retirement Living Manager – Temporary position for up to 12 months

Noble House, Worcester

£33,706 per annum

37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm

We are seeking an exceptional individual with experience of managing CQC registered care services, to manage the delivery of care services and housing within our Retirement Living service, Noble House.

Located in Sanctuary Grove, a purpose-built community on the outskirts of Worcester, Noble House provides apartments and communal facilities for over 55s. We are seeking a Registered Retirement Living Manager to head our team, who make a real difference to the lives of our residents and help them enjoy a happy, fulfilling retirement. 

All our residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible and the design of our property fosters an independent lifestyle, with added peace of mind there is someone onsite 24 hours a day. We aim to offer a lively atmosphere and mixed community of people who have a range of care needs.

With previous experience in a registered setting, you will be responsible for line managing teams of staff to deliver outstanding care services, promoting the well-being of all residents together with ensuring care plans and all compliance monitoring requirements are met.

 

The role of Registered Retirement Living Manager will include:

  • Ensuring resident care plans are met and the scheme is at a safe ratio for residents
  • Fostering and further developing current relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing staff absence and monitoring staff performance
  • Ensuring that Noble House complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements, including preparing for planned inspections
  • Supporting the business to maximise income by providing a range of services within the scheme and the immediate community to ensure the on-going development and growth

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience running a registered care service
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and good practice principles
  • Proven ability in budget preparation and cost control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively line manage a team of staff
  • Good organisation and administrative skills
