The Group consists of;

Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance

Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.

About the role

This is an opportunity for people to join our Coventry Community Support Service.  We provide housing related support services to customers with Learning Disabilities and/or on the autism spectrum to develop the skills and resources required to build resilience and live independently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and sustain a home

Deal with maintenance and tenancy issues

Manage finances, budget and address debt

Maximise income including applying for and dealing with benefits

Develop social confidence and safe social networks and networking opportunities

Access education, training, voluntary and paid work opportunities.

Improve physical and mental health and wellbeing

About you

We are looking for people, who are flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic, dedicated and want to make a difference in people’s lives. You will have responsibility for providing a person-centered service to a caseload of customers within the community and our supported housing. You must have effective communication skills, good administration skills and be computer literate. The role is challenging and varied which requires people who see social care as a vocation.

Experience within social care as well as a good understanding of the challenges faced by people with mental health problems, learning disabilities and autism in the community and the Welfare Reform legislation is an advantage but not a necessity as full training will be provided. Successful candidate must always be able to portray professional standards.
