We are currently looking for an exceptional full-time Activity Co-ordinator to join our OT team at Cygnet Hospital Colchester.
Post: Activity Co-ordinator
Fixed Term: 9 months maternity cover until end of December 2022
Hours: 40 hour per week
Base: Cygnet Hospital Colchester
Responsible for: The provision of Occupational Therapy activities across Cygnet Hospital Colchester
Responsible to: Regional Lead Occupational Therapist at Cygnet Hospital Colchester; Hospital Manager; Occupational Therapy Director
Cygnet Hospital Colchester, rated Good by CQC in all areas, provides specialist inpatient services over various service lines. This includes mental health services for male acute, male rehabilitation, specialist male learning disabilities and male Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
The hospital is situated approximately 2 miles from the city centre and is within distance of the train station and local bus routes. Colchester town Centre offers street market stalls, shopping malls and many other entertainment areas such as restaurants, theatres and cinemas and a castle.
