We have an exciting opportunity for a Cash and Banking Coordinator to join our Finance Team in Head Office in Sidcup.

In this his role you will assist with cash posting, cash allocation and administration of all aspects of banking, from the opening and closing of accounts to updating bank mandates and open/flexible credit agreements and standing orders and maintain a database of all bank accounts.

Key responsibilities are;

To promptly update the sales ledgers with receipts ensuring an appropriate audit trail of supporting documentation is maintained.
To promptly update the bank mandates and flexible open credit agreements as and when required, keeping all service and area managers aware.
To maintain a database of all bank accounts, detailing the names of everybody on the mandate and updating as and when changes are made.
To liaise with Barclays and the service and area managers, ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
Maintaining confidentiality of information and using discretion where necessary.
Perform Ad hoc duties as required including providing cover across Sales Ledger and Finance teams.
Contribute and support on projects and month and year end as requiredAbout you;

Have working knowledge of bookkeeping double entry system,
Have knowledge of database maintenance,
Have a minimum of 1year experience in a similar role,
Experience of computerised accounting packages, databases and MS Office Applications particularly Excel to intermediate level,
Have the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines,
Have the ability to be self-motivating,
Have good organisational skills,
