We are currently working with a reputable, family-run SME who are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team based in Watford. This is a hands-on leadership role, leading a small production team in the manufacture of acoustic products.
Key duties and responsibilities....
* Scheduling of orders for production to ensure the date the customer requires the goods are met.
* Organising jobs in production to be run in the most efficient way possible to maximise throughput.
* Setting the pace in production, leading by example, and motivating the team to maximise productivity.
* Liaise with the office and operations to ensure products are packaged correctly for the transport method being used and ensure the goods are sent out on time to the clients.
* Assisting with picking stock for production.
* Running the CNC cutting machines.
* Assembly and gluing work.
* Packing up of finished products ready for dispatch.
Requirements
* Excellent leadership skills to ensure the team is motivated to achieve and meet production deadlines.
* Excellent communicator so there is no misunderstanding between sales staff and production.
* Skilled with your hands so hand-finished items are made to a high standard.
* Attention to detail and accurate so mistakes are picked up before they happen and products are made correctly.
* Autonomous so you are always looking for the next thing to do and not waiting to be told.
Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:30
