Apprentice Business Administrator, Recruitment Consultants based in Uttoxeter Staffordshire, starting salary £4.81 per hour, above statutory holiday and pension contributions.

 

The Company:

The Company have become a leading HGV driver recruitment resource provider over the last decade to the logistics, manufacturing and service industries across the UK. The Company was established in 2005 by the current Managing Director, and are a small and dedicated team of transport professionals.

 

We are now looking for an Apprentice Business Administrator to join our team to support and learn within all areas and departments of the business.

 

This is a full time position, working 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Apprentice Business Administrator Main Duties:

  • General business administration duties.
  • Ensuring we have the right information to pay new drivers correctly.
  • Collecting and collating the drivers working hours.
  • Managing the drivers holidays.
  • Checking new drivers’ PSC on Companies House.
  • Ensuring standard operating procedures are being followed.
  • Complying with the working time directive, EU driver hours and rest period.
  • Assisting with audits.
  • Organising workflow to meet timeframes using an electronic/manual diary.
  • Contacting applicants to arrange interviews, arranging driver assessments and general administration of recruitment tasks.
  • Marketing administration tasks, including Facebook networking posts, downloading CVs, posting job adverts.
  • Any other duties as required from time to time.

Apprentice Business Administrator Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • A confident and positive can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including on the telephone.
  • Great organisation skills, with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, talking through problems to find solutions.
  • Reliable, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
