Aston Services Group are recruiting for a permanent Site Cleaning Manager in Northwich, Cheshire for one of the towns main shopping centres. Applications are welcomed from security management backgrounds.
Reporting to the client this role is responsible for managing daily operations, security, cleaning, motivating and managing teams of staff in a busy retail environment. You will assist in ensuring profitable management of the contract, establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external clients. The role will involve weekend and evening work where required by the business. As a key member of the site management team you will be required to work as ‘duty manager’ on a rotating basis requiring you to work on site over a weekend from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
People Management – effectively managing teams ensuring that the performance, training and development needs of all employees are effectively accomplished.
Security – maintaining and exceeding SIA & retail security standards, adapting protocols to changing threats, maintaining and reviewing site assignment instructions and site reference manuals. Developing rosters to meet operational needs and requirements of the business.
Cleaning – ensuring the centre is cleaned in accordance with quality standards, maintaining and developing rosters to meet the operational needs of the business.
Hours - 5 out of 7 days & contracted to 50 hrs per week.
