We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant to join a well-established family-run SME based in Paddock Wood. As an Operations Assistant your role will be to assist the Operations Manager and Operations Production Planner in various tasks required to run the Operations department.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* To update driver schedule spreadsheet daily
* To update customer portal daily
* General admin duties
* To assist internal and external customers with delivery queries
* To ensure supplier rejects are logged and dealt with in a timely manner.
* Deal with all customer service replacement parts coming in and dispatching
* Arrange and book services/maintenance for all vehicles and update Fleetcheck
* Booking in deliveries with customers via telephone and email
* Deal with all export deliveries including commercial invoices
* Chase suppliers for late deliveries and book the delivery in with the warehouse
* Weekly Fire Alarm Testing and H&S walk around checks
* To ensure parts are prepared and labelled correctly before being sent for painting/printing.
* Support change and continuous improvement in the Operations department
* Promote a happy, positive culture in support of the company ethos.
* Support the Operations Manager to maintain site Health & Safety and ISO accreditation
Requirements
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.
* Good organizational skills
* High level of accuracy
* Must be computer literate including Excel – Experience in using SAP business one will be an advantage.
* Have a positive and professional attitude.
* Be versatile to help with other operational tasks as required.
* Dedicated, hardworking, reliable, and motivated.
Hours: 7:00 – 16:30 (Mon-Fri)
