Cygnet Healthcare is currently recruiting Female Part-Time Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Ellen Mhor in Dundee supporting individual adults with learning disabilities, and complex needs, including those with mental health or physical health needs.
Based in a suburban area of Dundee, Ellen Mhor is a specialist residential service with nursing, supporting up to 12 adults living with a learning disability and complex needs, and who may have an autistic spectrum condition. The team also supports individuals who have behaviour’s that may challenge and are associated with mental or physical health needs.
The Role:
As a support worker at Ellen Mhor, you will be working as part of a team supporting and assisting residents under our care.
During your shift, you will be
• Assisting residents in day to day activates
• Going out on excursions with residents to cinemas, local swimming baths, zoos, and other outings
• Promoting resident independence and development by assisting with key skills learnings
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs whilst becoming their key worker
• Undertaking on-site activities with residents such as Sensory Room Therapy
Shifts Times & Patterns:
You’ll be working full-time hours, on a mixed shift pattern across days, nights, and weekends.
We work a Two-week rolling rota, week one is 36 hours and then week two is 48 hours working two weekends a month.
