Savings Product & Pricing Manager – permanent, full time – £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) – hybrid working.

This is a great opportunity to join Bath Building Society’s Savings department and help us in delivering excellent customer service to our Members.

The role is based at the Society’s Head Office in the centre of Bath, but the successful candidate will have the flexibility to manage their own working pattern between home and office working subject to any core business requirements to be agreed with the Chief Commercial Officer.

 

The role:

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Savings Product & Pricing Manager will manage the growth and pricing of the personal Savings book and effective management of operational risks and costs.

Growing the distribution of Savings type products to the business and professional services market by developing and distributing appropriate product strategies - including the relationship management of agreed key business introducers.

 

Key responsibilities:

You will:

Be the Savings Product ‘expert’ responsible for the development and delivery of appropriate Savings products and strategies to deliver growth targets at an acceptable cost to the Society. To include relationship management of agreed key business introducers Maintain a deep understanding of the Savings market and best practices using this to identify and deliver opportunities for continuous improvement through increasingly digital channels Drive forward all Customer Relationship Management and Retention Strategies being channel agnostic and promoting the channels that are most suitable to the customer – including Bath Online and the Mobile App. Assist in the coaching and development of the Savings team, creating a culture of delivering continuous improvement and excellent customer service through webchat, telephone and email and increasingly by use of new technologies such as messaging via Mobile App Work closely with the Business Change team ensuring that all agreed projects are well managed and that expectations are well managed Take ownership of the identification of root cause analysis resolution for all product related complaints ensuring they are effectively and compliantly managed. Ensure that all operational and regulatory risks associated with our Savings Products are effectively managed

Measures to include: Customer/Member numbers and Savings Balances Growth, Savings Margin, Colleague Feedback, Customer Feedback and Complaints. Customer Service type metrics, Customer Retention Rates, Projects being managed on time within budget and agreed standard Key skills: Commercial outlook, with a passion for delivering positive customer outcomes. Well organised with good project management skills and an ability to get things done through others. Skilled in and familiar with structured approaches to people management and coaching Networking, negotiation and influencing skills Ability to work alone, in a team and to inspire a team to achieve excellence Sound judgement and decision making IT competent including WordPress, Microsoft Office and ideally Society systems including those provided by likes of SOPRA and Mutual Vision Technology Depth understanding the Savings market and products. PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent (Desirable)
