We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Sales Ledger and Credit Control Supervisor to join our Finance team to manage transactions processing and credit control for one of our subsidiaries incl. supervise the work of the Sales Ledgers and Credit Controllers.

This role is a new role within our Finance team structure and will be initially for a 12 months fixed term contract with the opportunity to become permanent. We do offer the option to work from home in line with operational procedures and policies.

Be responsible for and oversee the accurate and timely issuing of all sales invoices using the Access Dimensions accounting system.
Maintain and implement a comprehensive schedule detailing the invoices to be raised each month for one of the subsidiaries.
Actively manage debtor accounts including outstanding debtor balances and liaise with customers and operational staff to ensure balances do not become overdue (credit control).
Contribute to the production of weekly and monthly reports on the status of aged debtors and the impact on cash flow.
Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external stakeholders.
Supervise and support the work of the sales ledger/credit controllers including shadowing or attending service manager meetings.

About you!

Working knowledge of bookkeeping double entry system and account reconciliation.
Part qualified ACCA / MBA/MSC/ Degree in Finance or any other similar qualification.
Staff supervision / management.
Have a minimum of 2-3years experience in a similar role.
Experience of computerised accounting packages, databases and MS Office Applications particularly Excel to intermediate level.
Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to be self-motivating.
Supervisory skills.
