Due to our continued growth we are seeking bank cleaning operatives. As part of our service delivery team, you’ll be there for our customers and your colleagues whenever they need you; big jobs, little jobs, all kinds of jobs. This is a bank position at up to 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, this position will require a basic DBS check.
Your role will involve cleaning duties. This could be kitchen and bathroom cleaning, deep oven cleans or mopping, dusting, vacuuming and other general cleaning duties. And you’ll be working in a variety of locations, including; colleague offices, customer homes (both empty and occupied) and communal areas, so you’ll need to be comfortable and flexible to take on any challenge. You’ll be working by yourself or as part of a team, with an expectation to carry out this work to a high standard, and in line with our rigorous specification of work, and health and safety regulations.
You’ll make sure that all of our customers, schemes and our properties receive the highest levels of service, learning from experience when things don’t always go to plan. We expect you to take responsibility for safeguarding; identifying and raising potential risks within our homes and communities.

As a cleaning operative with us, we want you to have:
Cleaning experience, commercial and household
An awareness of BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science)
A good understanding of health and safety, COSHH requirements
Basic IT knowledge and using mobile devices (training to be provided)
Experience in a customer-facing environment
The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Full, clean driving licence
Car business insurance is desirable but not essential.This role is based from our Chipping Sodbury offices (BS37 6JX) and will involve some travel to and from the surrounding areas. to hear what our colleagues say about working with us here at Bromford.
Your previous experience may be in roles as a cleaner, domestic cleaner, cleaning operative, commercial cleaner, waste operative, waste cleansing operative, amongst others.
