Service Line: Mental Health Adults

Summary of the site

Clinical: You would be responsible for the assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction for patients on the Springs Unit which is a low secure ward for men with a dual diagnosis of Mental Illness and Autism.  Cygnet Harrow benefits from a full multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapy, psychology, psychiatry, nursing and support staff.

Leadership: As a senior OT, you will provide supervision and appraisal for less experienced team members including a Band 5 OT and an OTA.

The hospital places a high emphasis on the use of sensory integration, for which you will receive funding and support to further your qualifications in this area of specialism.

Occupational Therapy Directorate

Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists. Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.

Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.
