Job Details
We are looking for a Works Manager for a small manufacturing company:
An engineering background in sheetmetal work, presswork or welded fabrications is required, together with some practical knowledge of CAD drawing of simple components and use of spreadsheets including simple formulas and other Office documentation.
39 hours per week, with occasional overtime expected if/as necessary.
30 days holiday per annum.
In addition to managing the manufacturing processes the applicant will need to be able to talk confidentially customers, both large and small, do costing and submit quotations of principally standard fabricated items with variations,
As well as generally making good commercial decisions on a regular basis.
