Supply Chain Manager / Supply Chain and Procurement Manager.

An exciting opportunity awaits for a hands on Supply Chain and Procurement Manager with production planning/scheduling capabilities and procurement tendencies at our packing and fulfilment operation based in Lincoln, where we source quality, delicious award winning British produce for our luxury gift hampers that are delivered throughout the UK and around the world.

We are offering a salary of up to £35,000.00 depending on skills and experience with a highly competitive bonus package, pension scheme, staff discounts and chance to attend regular food tasting events and take part in fun and exciting team activities.

We are now preparing for a significant period of growth so this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, hands on Supply Chain and Procurement Manager / Professional to develop their career or a Supply Chain/Procurement/Planning Professional wanting a new challenge. Reporting to the Managing Director, we are looking for a forward-thinking Supply Chain and Procurement Manager who has the following skills and experience:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in the management of stock purchasing, production planning, supplier relations and negotiation.
  • HR experience which includes recruitment and record keeping.
  • Experience in developing a continuous improvement culture to promote efficient working practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills especially in Microsoft Office Excel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for stock purchasing and production planning within the business including:

  • Managing and developing supplier relationships, sourcing new food products and taking a proactive approach to sourcing with cost savings.
  • Working closely with senior management to improve and implement new stock ordering processes.
  • Working within budgets for stock purchasing, equipment and facility management.
  • Planning production schedules for the packing team throughout the year.
  • As part of the Senior Management Team support the business with producing regular reports and action plans for achieving targets according to the business plan.
  • Working closely with the operations team to manage incoming stock, third party storage providers and Amazon FBA inventory.
